SCENE DESCRIPTION
Storage unit measuring approximately 10' x 15' located in defunct facility. Unit 47 was the only unit with an intact lock (Master Lock #5, cut by reporting parties using bolt cutters prior to police arrival). Interior walls are corrugated metal, concrete floor. No electricity or climate control. No windows. Single roll-up door entry.
EVIDENCE COLLECTED
ITEM #1 - BLOODSTAIN PATTERN
Location: Concrete floor, approximately 3 feet from entrance
Description: Dried blood pool measuring 18" x 24" with passive drip pattern
Volume Estimate: 800-1000ml (significant blood loss)
Spatter Analysis: Low-velocity impact pattern consistent with bleeding from head trauma
Samples Collected: 6 swabs for DNA analysis
Preliminary Blood Type: O-positive
ITEM #2 - HUMAN TOOTH
Location: Northwest corner of unit, 7 feet from blood pool
Description: Upper left central incisor, complete with root
Condition: Intact, no decay, evidence of forceful avulsion
Blood Present: Yes, on root surface
Notes: Tooth appears to have been dislodged by significant frontal impact trauma
ITEM #3 - FABRIC FRAGMENT
Location: Embedded in door track
Description: Black cotton, 2" x 1", consistent with t-shirt material
Blood Present: Yes
Notes: Appears torn during struggle or rapid movement
ITEM #4 - CELLULAR DEVICE FRAGMENT
Location: Under metal shelving bracket
Description: Piece of smartphone screen glass, approximately 1cm²
Device Type: Undetermined
Notes: No identifiable serial numbers
FORENSIC ANALYSIS
DNA RESULTS (EXPEDITED)
Blood samples match missing person Charles Matthew Stine (99.98% certainty)
Reference sample obtained from victim's apartment (hairbrush)
Tooth DNA confirms match to Charles Stine
INJURY ASSESSMENT
Based on blood volume and tooth avulsion, victim sustained significant head/facial trauma. Injury pattern suggests:
Forceful impact to face/mouth region
Blood loss consistent with serious but not immediately fatal injury
Absence of body indicates victim was removed from scene
TIME ESTIMATE
Based on blood degradation and environmental factors:
Blood deposition occurred 4-6 weeks prior to discovery
Consistent with April 22, 2017 disappearance date
ADDITIONAL FINDINGS
No surveillance equipment present (facility soon to be demolished)
Lock on unit was not original to facility
No fingerprints recovered (surfaces too degraded)
No weapons recovered
No additional biological evidence found
Tire track impressions outside unit too degraded for analysis
INVESTIGATIVE NOTES
Reporting parties (Reed, Conlon, Volpe) were conducting independent investigation into Stine disappearance
Reed provided Google phone records showing victim received text directing him to this location on April 22, 2017
Last text from victim's phone: "I'm here. Where are you?" sent at 15:47 on April 22, 2017
Victim's vehicle (2015 Honda Pilot, Nevada plate JTS-4421) remains missing

ADDENDUM (July 3, 2017): Jackson Reed failed to appear for scheduled follow-up interview on August 1, 2017. Reed's last known location was his residence in Oklahoma City, OK. Missing Person report filed August 2, 2017 with OKC PD by Victoria Reed. Potential connection to Stine case under investigation.
